Holiday Ruffle Shirt
Christmas is only a little over two weeks away and I can hardly believe it! In traditional holiday fashion, I have yet again styled some red and green – this time in plaid. This ruffle shirt made all of my plaid dreams come true. Some festive plaids are too green, the wrong shade of red, or just try to mix all of the holiday colors together. This one, however, is perfect. And the ruffle detailing around the color and down the buttons is too cute for words.
Will I ever stop styling red sweaters and plaid for the holidays you ask? Probably not, but why fix something that isn’t broke, am I right? I do have a few sparkly and shimmery holiday/NYE looks coming, but I’m still in full Christmas mode currently and it’s hard to get me to do something I just don’t want to do.
I’m so sad that this top is almost completely sold out. It’s only available in xx-small. Although that seems tiny, I’m actually wearing an x-small in this ruffle shirt because I tend to find J Crew sizes to run big on me – especially the tops. So if you typically wear an x-small and think you should size down, then you’re in luck! J Crew and J Crew Factory have quite a few other holiday tops, which I love and have linked at the bottom! Also, I deeply apologize for the rip in my tights – I did not realize how bad it was until I was editing the pictures. I also realize that until I just typed that you may not have noticed and are now going back to look…
I am mentally and physically preparing for the monster snow storm headed my way tomorrow. Gotta break out my favorite winter accessories tonight – the shovel, hand warmers and a ski mask. Hope you’re all enjoying your hump days!
