I’m so excited that I’m spending Easter in Las Vegas this year! So when I was picking out what dress was going to make the cut, I didn’t have to consider possible rain, snow, sleet, or other cold/freezing things falling from the sky. For the end of March that is a HUGE win for me. I wanted something light and neutral and found this fitted lace dress at Charlotte Russe of all places. I’m not their biggest fan, but I like a good diamond in the rough just as much as the next girl.
It’s going to be strange not spending Easter with my family like I do every year, but I planned my trip a few months back and this was the time frame that happened to fit. One of the greatest things about this dress (once I received it) is that it doesn’t wrinkle! The day I shot this look, I wadded it up in my bag when I left the house and when I went to take it out to change I thought for sure I would have to go back home and steam it, but it looked exactly the same! This is going to be great for my trip because I’ll need to pack it in my suitcase and I won’t have to worry about maintenance once I take it out.
The biggest downfall of this dress is the sizing. I had to size up for my bottom half, which made the top way too big for me. I am by no means a ‘busty’ girl and so hesitate to buy form fitting things because they are almost always too big on the top. This dress is no exception and if you have a similar problem with sizing then I would definitely consider getting this dress fitted.
