I wore it on two different flights recently because it’s so comfortable! If you don’t know, Very Jane is a flash sale site that only has pieces available for a few days. I buy trendy items from them every once in a while, but it’s hard to photograph and blog about them because they are gone so soon! So even though this top isn’t available anymore I’m here writing about it because it’s just so cute (and I’ve linked a plethora of peplums at the bottom!)

I love the way it drapes and that it has a bit of a hi-lo shape. It’s going to be an incredibly versatile piece that I can wear all year round (peach is a neutral, right?) and has so many styling possibilities! Seriously what more can you ask for in a piece of clothing? I wore almost this exact look on my flight from Atlanta to Vegas a few weeks ago sans lace-up heels. I mean, can you imagine how much I would’ve slowed down the line going through security with those bad boys? Plus, my friend Matt would’ve hated me. So I ditched the lace-ups in my suitcase and wore my gladiator sandals…which were only a slightly better option on the time efficiency front. I’m super in love with these boyfriend jeans as well and talked about them in two previous posts, which you can read here and here

I also want to talk about this bag. I bought it because I needed a go-to neutral bag to carry with me when I was in college. At the time I thought that my laptop would fit in it and I could take it to classes with me. However, my ability to judge dimensions kind of sucks so, as you can guess, I didn’t use it for it’s intended purpose. Instead, it sits nicely on a shelf in my closet collecting dust. Until the other day when I pulled it out to style with this look. I have to say I’m glad I did because I actually really like this bag. It kept it’s shape even after two years on a shelf and looks expensive (it wasn’t btw). I’ve been contemplating getting a Tory Burch bag almost the same color as this recently and since I pulled this one out of retirement I think I may stick with it for a while.

I hope everyone had a fabulous Monday and are continuing on their way to an even better Tuesday!
