Peppermint Bark Recipe

Today I’m sharing my mom’s recipe for Peppermint Bark. This recipe is a great alternative to cookies, bars and cakes because it doesn’t require any baking. You don’t even have to turn the oven on! It’s a pretty simple recipe, too, with very few ingredients. The longest part of the entire process is just letting all of the chocolate set up.

If you love chocolate then this recipe is perfect for you! I’m not the biggest fan of super chocolate-y desserts, but I do like a piece or two :). Also, I would recommend not slamming the tray of hardened peppermint bark on a table to break it(not like I know that from experience). I would suggest hitting it with a metal spatula or breaking it with your hands. What a great treat to make if you’re having a bad day, huh? Just take your anger out on some chocolate and then drown your sorrows in it. Eating your feelings is always a good idea…
