Ruffles, off-the-shoulder and stripes are trends I just can’t seem to get away from. Combined with my unhealthy love of blue and white, pretty much every look that’s been up on the blog lately hits one of those trends. And I’m definitely not hating it. I just received a top yesterday that has ruffles, blue and white stripes and is OTS.. yeah, I’m in heaven. I can’t wait to get it up on the blog and show you guys! Stay tuned.. For now, I have one of my other favorite tops as of late – this ruffle sleeve tee from Loft.
The ruffle detail on the sleeves of this blouse are so cute! The top itself is really soft and flowy and can be paired with jeans, a skirt or shorts and still look dressy. It’s seriously the perfect transition piece from day to night. Because it’s so light, it’ll be cool for the summer days, but a great layering blouse for when the temps drop once the sun goes down.
Also, I got a new lens for my camera and I’m IN LOVE. My mom and I have a bit of a learning curve when it comes to figuring out the aperture, ISO and shutter speed. For reference I use the Nikon D3300 and a 50mm f/1.8 lens. The bokeh with this size aperture is incredible and the price tag is right up my alley. I actually bought a refurbished lens so it was around $176 on Amazon. A brand new one is just over $200, however, so if you don’t want to go the refurbished route this lens is still affordable.
