How many off-the-shoulder dresses can one person own? I don’t know, you guys, but I’m headed for the record with this beauty! I grabbed this dress on major sale at Target the other day right after these espadrilles were delivered. It was a match made in DSW & Target heaven (which is my kind of heaven). I usually shy away from Junior’s sized clothing only because I find they don’t fit quite as well, you know… since women tend to fill out with age. This dress, however, is a cocoon style and so doesn’t have the chance to hug any areas it shouldn’t.

I had been searching for a pair of black espadrilles since I fell in love with these – if only they didn’t have studs. I have to say I’m not much of a studs girl, nor do I think I can pull them off. I love looking at them, but I wanted something a little softer. So then I found these and these – I LOVE Soludos and almost bought that pair before I found the ones I’m wearing. The front piece is faux suede embossed with a reptile print and the back is leather. I really wanted a pair with the ankle strap so that they (hopefully) didn’t rub my heel, because transitioning into sandals, slip-ons and boat shoes this time of year can be brutal on the heels! I lucked out because these are seriously one of the comfiest pairs of shoes I now own.

I think I’ll pair this dress with some wedges for my mom’s retirement picnic in June! It’s simple enough for dressing up and yet perfect for a day in the park. Follow along for plenty more OTS dresses and tops on the blog this summer because remember, I’m trying to break a record 🙂
