Lately I’ve been looking for easy, comfortable and teacher appropriate outfits. Dresses are definitely my go-to while the weather is still on the warm side. When I picked up this striped shirtdress from the #NSale I knew it would become a favorite. The wine, navy and white stripes are so trendy for fall and the lace-up detailing is everything!
I can never pass up a good stripe. This dress can be tricky to wear because of the horizontal stripes. Because of this, I sized up so that it didn’t fit too close to my body. Unfortunately, it’s currently sold out, but I found this lace-up dress from the same brand that would be great for fall!
Usually I don’t gravitate toward a shirtdress silhouette because they can be too casual. However, if you find one in a nicer material – either solid or print – that doesn’t just look like an oversized shirt, you’re in luck. You can feel super comfortable and casual, but actually look perfectly professional and appropriate at your job. It’s really a win-win.
Also for fall I’m LOVING these boots. My mom actually got them for me for my birthday this past August and they’ve been hanging out in their box ever since. I was feeling kind of bad, so I knew I had to break these bad boys out. You guys, they are so comfortable! They are shearling lined and have a memory foam footbed. I can be wearing these all day and it’s feel like I was walking around in my favorite sneaks. Seriously, these are so worth the price, go with so much and if you’re not a fan of this color (Chestnut Suede) they come in three others.
