I’m here for a Sunday post because I finally have a down day in my travels! Yay! If you follow me on Instagram (which you should @emillionthoughts) you probably saw this door last week. I found it on King St. in Charleston and I fell in love <3! There are so many gorgeous homes with beautiful doors in Charleston, but this one was absolutely my favorite.
Last weekend I posted a detailed overview of my trip to Charleston (here), however brief it was. I talked about where I ate, what I saw and what I did while I was there. This look was honestly perfect for the mid-70 degree temperatures. I love this midi dress so much and actually bought it last year at Loft for a Mother’s Day celebration. Because it’s almost a year old, it is no longer available, but I have linked similar midi dresses at the bottom. Also, please let me apologize for the massive bug bites on my legs. The first night in Charleston I got attacked by a vicious creature and these babies stayed with me for over a week… they’re cute, I know.
So I know that I’ve been MIA for about a week and it’s because I took a California adventure and didn’t have great wifi, or much time, to sit down and write. Plus, it’s nice to get a break every once in a while! Therefore, I’ll give you a brief update on my current travels: I hiked 14 miles in Yosemite National Park on Monday and kinda thought I was going to die. My whole body was sore, I had wet socks and it snowed most of the way. But even with all of that we finished the hike in a little over four and half hours and saw some of the most beautiful waterfalls I’ve ever seen. I’m absolutely going to recap this in more detail soon so stay tuned.
Then on Tuesday we drove down the Pacific Coast Highway from Monterey Bay to Los Angeles. I cannot express in words how beautiful it was and how absolutely imperative it is that you do this drive at least once in your life. I took so many pictures, which all look like the same rock, even though I promise they’re not :). We spent the next few days in LA and drove back to Vegas on Friday, which is where I currently am.
Like I said, more details to come… so enjoy this look from Charleston until then!
